My path to real estate started with two lifelong interests: people and homes. After many years as an educator—including founding and leading a successful private school—I found that real estate felt surprisingly familiar. The work is still about listening closely, understanding needs, and creating a strong plan that helps someone move forward with confidence.
I’ve always loved architecture, interior design, and the way a home’s layout, light, and setting can shape daily life. That’s why I’m drawn to properties with something distinctive—a view, a private setting, a special style, a large lot for gardening, or quality that’s built to last. I also love helping buyers see what’s possible, whether that means recognizing “good bones,” imagining a thoughtful remodel, or spotting a hidden gem that others might miss.
Because I’ve bought and sold many homes myself— across different seasons of life—I understand how priorities change. First-time buyers need education and clarity. Growing families need space and strategy. Retirees and seniors often need a plan that’s both practical and respectful of the emotions that can come with downsizing. As a senior myself, with a senior specialist designation and experience helping prepare homes for aging in place, I’m able to support that transition with patience, organization, and real-world solutions.
